Burnett Lane received a council makeover and is now a really nice place to meet. The rear entrance to the southern hemisphere’s biggest second hand vinyl store it’s called the Record Exchange.

Spencer Lane is the place to go at lunchtime without having to worry about delivery trucks. Home to food and drinking venues such as the Laneway bar, The Euro and Urbane.

Winn Lane, Fortitude Valley was my favourite laneway when I visited Brissy.
