Reviews on Butler?

Just wondering if anyone has recently moved here, in the past year or two, and has reviews or advice to give about moving to Butler? We just purchased a property up from the Dome, but a LOT of the reviews here on Homely do not inspire confidence. A lot of the posts talk about the crimes, hoons, homeswest and teenage fights around the area and was wondering how much truth to that there is? No suburb is perfect, but I don't want to feel like my house is subject to burglary either type of feel.

Many of these posts seem older than 2016, and the very few most recent posts have been positive. So actually asking my fellow future residents, what are your thoughts so far? IF you don't like it, give specifics as to why and how to avoid issues.
