Thinking of buying in Darra. Is it safe for young families?

Hi! We have found a property we like for future potential for our young family. We will be living there and was wondering if young families find it a safe suburb? Thats my main concern. The house is near Ducie Park. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hello

People bag out Darra , Oxley and Inala as it was originally migrant housing in the 50s to 70s. It's extremley low socio economically with the average Brisbane income of 738 per week hence the low house prices, but if you like quirky, it's ok. I personally wouldn't buy there for capital growth reasons
