It seemed quiet when we inspected the property (which was inaccurately described as "private" in the advertisement) however, once we moved in we were regaled with the roaring of trucks and hoons that blasts through the quiet (between hoons and trucks it is very quiet) several times a day and shakes the floorboards (making it feel anything but "private"). Unfortunately, most houses here have been built with no insulation in the walls and right up close to the street with no noise barrier near the road, making it quite depressing to live here and an extremely disappointing discovery to make right after having signed a 12 month lease and moved in.
