Possibly moving to Moranbah, Would like to know ...

Hello looking at possibly moving to moranbah, Would like to know what the town is like for living (Disregarding housing prices and the shops (from already remote mining town experiences)), How is the town for a family with an older primary aged child and teenager/adult. What is part time work prospects for myself like (husband poss in mine), what is quality of living like (not into parties so much)? Which school is best for a child upper primary coming from a private school (respect, values, quality of education, opportunities, discipline boundaries and consistency), Are there any pretty places (nature) that during the day can chill out at or relax and is there anywhere close to swim in a river or something (not only pool)? Is the town and living area noisy and does it have birds? (know these questions may sound silly, but they do shape a picture of living for us. We are aware of the multiple clubs and sporting opportunities, is there someone who does guitar lessons for a child in town? What cost is petrol, bread, milk, the basics please? Thank you in advance.
