Moving from Victoria to Sunshine Coast

Hello,
We are looking at moving to the Sunshine Coast sometime in the near future. We have two young children and want to make the move before they start school. We're tired of the Victorian weather and hoping the Sunshine Coast is all it's talked up to be, we've holidayed many times up there at Noosa and the warm weather & laid back lifestyle is so appealing to us.
My question is which area/s should we look at moving to? We have been researching Mount Coolum & Coolum beach.
My biggest concern is moving with young kids and having no family support so I want somewhere with a community feel, SAFETY is paramount, excellent schools & overall just a wonderful place to live & work.
After any information at all regarding our big move!
Helpful hints & tips alike.
TIA

Hello Danib2,

Very exciting that you're planning a move soon! Having lived up here in Noosa and raising two young girls in the area, I can highly recommend Noosa, Noosaville, Sunrise and Sunshine. Great schools in the area, daycare facilities and close to the Noosa River and Main Beach - perfect and safe spots for young families. Coolum and Mt Coolum are also good - you may find you can get good value for money there, depending on where you buy.

Happy to help if you need any assistance or just have any questions. I've recently helped another Victorian family with their move. They arrive next month!

cheers, Bronwen
