Is there much for teens to do in Port Noarlunga?

We are looking to move to Adelaide, and Port Noarlunga sounds like a real community and we haven't been able to find it here in Brisbane. We have two teenagers, is there much to do for teenagers? Which is the best high school in this area? Where is the best area to live? Appreciate any advice.

Hi Jodie,

Port Noarlunga and its surrounding suburbs is the perfect place to relocate. Its local beaches are a highlight for the youths in the area. With the surf lifesaving club located at Port Noarlunga and further down at Christies Beach, it attracts some great events through out summer for all ocean enthusiasts. Surfing and snorkelling is a must all year long in this area.

The area is also host to a local photography group if your children are interested in the arts along with many other soccer, football, netball and other clubs. The surrounding area offers so many opportunities for teenagers to become involved in, I would take their interests and google what is around.

You would also be central to two major shopping centres in Noarlunga and Seaford with a new one in Seaford Meadows currently being built.

As for schools, their are a few opportunities in the area and would highly recommend attending some open days and get a feel for the school. Look into schools like Seaford 6 - 12, Tatachilla, Christies Beach High school and see if any interest your children.

I am currently located in Seaford Meadows and would not live any where else. We are only up the road from Port Noarlunga where I drive through its location every day and am in awe of its beauty. Head on over to google maps and take a tour of the streets.

Good luck with your move.
