"Tree Change for Us"

Nestled amongst beautiful native bush this 'cul de sac' with elevation is ideal for families wanting to balance work, education, R & R and a sense of community, all while still having your own space on a 1 acre block. Here neighbors still get together on a Sunday afternoon and share a glass of red with good conversation. Kids run and play to their hearts desire. Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School is just a short walk away while listening to the thrilling sounds of native birds calling, the laughing kookaburra my favorite. A swim at the beach is less than 5 km away and with access to major transport routes the city amenities only a 10 minute drive. Nothing beats cycling or a walk around the quiet streets with family or friends and spotting some kangaroos in the bush. City life, no thanks.

sandnsurf Thanks Werner, how about some wildlife pictures from the street. Do you have a problem with snakes?
thebestofoz I love Gelorup! The quiet peaceful tranquility on rare country acreage close to city facilities. It boasts close proximity to two great private schools and one public school, gorgeous white sandy beaches, both private and public hospitals, great employment opportunities, close proximity to the gorgeous panoramic vineyards of Ferguson Valley, Margaret River tourist region and the Bridgetown/Balingup region. A great neighbourhood with many professionals choosing this area without the noise and intrusion of 'close' neighbours, but still offering a wonderful sense of community for those that choose. We live on Hampstead Street which has a beautiful nature reserve with running brook which offer's lovely nature walks and an abundance of birds, kangaroos and other wildlife. Gelorup has it's own community centre, library, bmx park, nearby surf lifesaving club and sporting facilities and community groups and activities. There has been plenty of safe and healthy outdoor activity for our kids away from the temptations that city life often brings. We also had space to plant our own organic vegie patch and mini orchard. Thank you Gelorup....you have given us the best that WA has to offer.
