Hmm, not sure that the Centenary is the quickest if travelling at peak hour. The most economical and efficient way to get to the city is by train at Oxley Station. This is very close by - depending on what part of 17 Mile rocks you are it may be walking distance (certainly there are a number of school kids that walk it) Train to the city takes around 18 minutes. Taking the Centenary in non peak takes 20 minutes, yes, but in peak hour can be upwards of an hour.

The quickest way into the city would be about 20mins Centenary > Milton rd > city.
