Mitford St

"Marvelous Mitford"

Mitford street is a great central street in the heart of St Kilda, it is a lovely, lazy stroll down Mitford street to the beach or to Acland St for local coffee and shops. Conveniently there is a bus that runs down the street running from Elsternwick to Clifton Hill (even stopping on Punt for the MCG if you need!) and if you are a commute cyclist very cental for bike path access in to the CBD either via the beautiful beach route or St Kilda Rd.

Had never herd that - however it is like MAGIC that you can get to the G from St Kilda on 1 bus :)

Greeves Street

"Colorful and charismatic"

Have lived on Greeves street for almost 10 years and now with a 3 y.o. This is a fabulous location, close to all the wonderful things St Kilda has to offer. Public transport from here is awesome - connections from Acland street, trams to Balaclava station, the dreaded 246 Bus route and of course the St Kilda Rd trams. The lanes that cut through to St Kilda road via Greeves & Blanche street often host colourful street art pieces and make for a lovely stroll to start your commute. The closest park that we often frequent is on Barkley street opposite the servo, just behind the National Theatre, at this park you will find a wonderful community art installation celebrating the diversity and history of the area, well worth a look also!
