It's bad enough that this place is too far from the city, but what really drives me up the wall is how bad the people are here. The people are so rude. They verbally abuse me or honk their horns unecessarily at me when I haven't done anything wrong while driving. They dump trolleys everywhere and litter everywhere, even in lakes with ducks. Lots of crime too. I've seen at least 4 instances of gang robberies in the shopping centre. One time a bunch of guys were looking underneath my partially open roller shutter until they saw my wife and ran off, which is just completely unheard of elsewhere. This place is just the worst. Filled with too many rude, scummy criminal types of people. It's almost unliveable. DON'T BELIEVE THE FAKE/POSITIVE REVIEWS PAINTING A ROSY PICTURE! DON'T MOVE HERE!

Its been a concern of mine where I can afford to buy. Can only afford between $330,00-$400,000 when I move there. Am a Sydney Girl, grew up in a middle class suburb back home. Unfortunately the reality of when single, Ill be forced to live in regional Melbourne and not metropolitan also. The thought of this alone doesnt invoke joy there either.
Unfortunately that every city with many have to buy further out. To have the dream of owning their own home. Will have approximately $330, 000 deposit for a 2 bedroom house. Depending on if I become employed sooner than later here. After becoming unemployed like many ongoing. Thanks to Covid-19 this is.
Part of Perth I live in. It was a real eye-opener moving here. having to live in rougher areas to be able to afford rents now. Its full of a lot Gutter Trash types personalities as what you described at Melton. Am talking, Drug addicts, Drunks, criminal types personalities with too many Dregs. Put it this way, I dont even open my front door or living area window. So many of them are walking pass, using vulgar language being heard. Whether by Addicts with alcohol, drug or psychosis from both. Then when more than one person walking pass together.
Then theres the other side of decent people like myself. Do not hear very often us respectful natured and normal people in society saying we love living in these suburbs by choice.
