Some parts of lenah valley are good but there are quite a few parts where it isnt sunny due to the fact that lenah valley has alot of trees surrounding it. I dont like how windy it gets & the dog park is great but i always find dog owners letting their dogs poo all over the top field when there not allowed to making it so you always step in poop.

Beautifual nice streets there but hardly any services so its not ideal for familes and people there can be a bit rough. Its almost like bridgey but obvi nicer. Still wouldnt reccomend for familes but might be a good fixer if you werent living in it as the new homes being built change the soil and can cause your home to slip and cause structual issues

I love the location its in the middle of everything with wildlife too! but liveng near aeverything comes with downsides too. I stayed here for a few months a while back and people from the clubs used to come knocking on our door quite alot. Have no idea how they managed to make it up ours and the neighbourhoods steep driveway but the drunk bogans find a way. Area could have potentianl but right now not reccomending

area is nicce but a bit too green. gets alot of bugs and the darkness and clodness is winter sucks. it gets really cold during winter months and i used to hate it alot. It is closer to shops but can be scary at night with some people from the clubs finding their way to wander so wouldnt reccomend for a family but a young couple might be able to live here okay

Alot of people take mount nelson as a shortcut to get to other areas quicker like Sandy bay or even lenah valley so traffic can pile up and due to the one way streets and difficult steep roads it can be a struggle to navigate through. Houses here are quite old and due to the potential land slips due to them being up on the hill i dont think i would feel very safe up there. Definetly would rather be on the flat. Used to rent here all the way back in 2014 and use to get giant spiders due to the bush being so close and the amount of rats i saw on the street was horrendous.

Nice bush area but the streets can be narrow and hard to navigate and alot of the streets are either one way or none existant. trying to get google maps to navigate you anywhere in west hobart is a nightmare! Most houses closer to the bush have long steep driveways and some roads are even muddy dirt making it even more diffucult to commute.

Howrah is a very lovely area but i believe its overpriced for what you get its closer to hobart but some people living there are quite snobby. the streets are narrow and navigation is very diffucult to get through. And the traffic is horrible especially getting to work in the morning. I'd recommend saving up for sandy bay instead.

I absolutely love this area. Ive done renovation jobs in the area and even been up here for holiday and it just an amazing place to stay. Its got lots of corner shops and would proably even be good to retire in too. Its probably not worth living here but is a very nice place to stay at!!

near food shops and normal stores \ but def a bit scary at night. Theres alot of wondering people smoking and yelling sometimes. Alot like glenorchy and kinda a bit bogan like. definnelty get better but not amazing considering prices. there are better areas for the price i'd say, i use to rent in moonah and the neighbours there absouloutely sucked. always yelling at eachother and throwing parties. my other mate that lives in moonah also has someone in the street doing the same. kinda hit or miss area

A while ago I moved to rosetta and it's a pretty good area. its only 15 mins to the city and 5 mins to northgate. so its fairly close to shops but far enuogh away that it's nice and quiet to be in.

I was shocked when i realsied Rosetta is cheap but profitble . I was able to find a nice red brick here without spending alot, which is kinda rare since its so close to shops. the neighbours here are very nice & welcoming, which makes it a nice place to live or rent out.

theres alot of nice parks, playgrounds & schools and if i want I can always go to the city for some more stuff to do

im really happy with my desision to move to rosetta. Its a good deal and a good invesment for anyone looking for a nice place to live or develop & rent out

All Up its a good area and very underaeted.
