Cook Road

"Great little street so close to Paddo, Centennial Park, SCG and SFS!"

I rented in this street between 1996-1997 and loved it. So handy for oxford street, the eastern suburbs beaches, centennial park, the city and big sporting venues. Was sometimes hard to find on street parking sometimes, if you don't have a car spot, but not too bad.

Really leafy, affordable for renting and great location.

Grove Avenue

"Great street in quality Sydney suburb which is finally getting some class!"

Grove Ave is on the better side of Penshurst near McRaes Estate. An easy walk to the station and finally some great cafes and other 'stylish' services like good hairdressers, dog grooming and restaurants are moving into Penshurst!

Being an easy commute into the city (20 mins on the train), but not a suburb packed with unit blocks, Penshurst (and particularly the Grove Ave side) is a good pick to find yourself a nice free- standing house which is still affordable.

Good schools and parks nearby, particularly the lovely Hurstville Grove Infants School which is 5 mins walk from Grove Ave, and a great reserve on the water called Moore Park reserve which has a fab, brand new kids play area, dog exercise area, cycle way and adult fitness circuit.

Bungendore

"Rural lifestyle so close to Canberra and the NSW South Coast"

If you're looking for a tree-change and can land a job in Canberra, Bungendore is a great pick. Just 40 mins into Canberra each day for work, and one hour the other direction through Braidwood to Bateman's Bay, Bungendore is perfectly positioned to provide you with a great country lifestyle.

The town itself may take a little while to charm you, but there is loads on offer like cafes, restaurants, pubs, local wineries, a public school and great community atmosphere.

Get in quick! Bungendore's proximity to Canberra makes it attractive and the prices are climbing as more and more people seek a country lifestyle with all the benefits of being so close to Canberra.

Clifton Street

"Fabulous street, fabulous suburb with village atmosphere so close to the city"

Clifton Street is in a great location of Waverton, just an easy walk to your pick of Waverton village and the train station, or stroll up beautiful Union St to the buzzing and sophisticated Blues Point Road McMahons Point. Your choice of transport including rail, ferry, cycling or walking and an easy stroll to Balls Head reserve with great views across the Harbour.

Parks galore for kids, plus cafes, restaurants, a great IGA and everything you need at your door step. Plus Waverton and particularly the little streets around Clifton St are charming, leafy and full of history. Set out on foot to explore. Hard to believe this quiet little village is just 15 mins from the hustle of the city centre and less than $20 in a cab home at the end of a night out in town!
