Is wattle grove a good place to live?

We are planning on moving location and chose wattle grove as it seems to be very nice and family friendly. We need to choose a school for my eldest and just not sure about where to turn have been told our location we will be in the catchment of Hammondville Public School . Reviews are not the best but am seeking community views on this.
