"The atmosphere of a country town but still close to "real life"!"
Bassendean has a great feel (especially the river side), it's just a short stroll to the river, shops, schools & public transport. People still say hello when you pass them on the street - that alone is pretty rare in Perth. I personally think that Bassendean is the best kept secret of the metro area - & the locals want to keep it that way! An excellent place to live.
