Where can I find pets in Melbourne?

It is no longer legal to sell kittens and puppies in pet stores. Where would people recommend finding a pet nowdays?

Breeders
This is a great option if you are looking for a particular type of pet. Most common for the purchase of puppies a good way of getting exactly what you want and source from a responsible breeder that ensures health tests are done on animals.
You can use a breeder directory to research and source a supplier of choice like the one with Dogs Victoria.
