I am an Indonesian, am I allowed to go to public school in Perth? How much should I pay a year?

I am 16 and I'm planning to move to Australia next year on January. I'll go there next December just to check out the government schools there. I was an exchange student to Mount Erin, Frankston, Melbourne this year, i love Australia. But i can't go to private school, it would be too expensive! Am I allowed to go to public schools? If so which school offers the lowest fees? Like $900/year or less ? Please comment . Please thx!
