Summer humidity

I live on the bay islands but find the summers just too humid - having li ed in Tassie most of my life I'm more a cool weather person. I've read that the higher altitude in Stanthorpe means the weather is less hot and sticky in summer - is this true? Many thanks

Hi, Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt does not have the crushing humidity that Brisbane, the GC, Redlands etc has. Summer is hot but dry. Check out the mean average temperatures for Stanthorpe. This region also desperately needs professionals and there is plenty of jobs/opportunity in hospitality, tourism and retail, mechanical, council etc. Please move here and balance out the old bigots. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful place to be, but more city & coast people will be beneficial.
