New airport runway

Im currently researching a move to Perth and love the look of Guildford. It seems to offer the best of both worlds; village feel but with good facilities and relatively close to Perth. My only concern is the planned new runway and the likely aircraft noise. Does anyone have any comments or information which would be useful? Id be grateful for any help and replies.
