How far is the airport from Hillarys Beach?

It would take about 30 minutes to get to the airport with a good run on all the roads. I'm guessing that for FIFO the plane would be really early in the morning, so probably no traffic problems. At peak times I wouldn't attempt it, without leaving at least an hour spare though. All you need is an accident blocking a highway lane and you could be really stretched for time. You could head down the freeway and then onto Reid Hwy and then Tonkin Hwy. Or, take Marmion Ave first before getting on Reid Hwy. WIth something important like catching a plane on time, if you avoid the freeway at least you can get onto a side street or an exit from the highways more easily than on the freeway. Lots of FIFO out workers live even further away than Hillarys, so it could be up to an hour or more from Two Rocks - just to make sure you get there on time.
