Thoughts on Hillarys Primary School

The kindy often fills up quickly and because kindergarten is not compulsory, they can do and do turn children away.

It depends. It's not a bad school and should be even better after the rebuild.
Socioeconomically, it is a mix, a lot of tradies, some FIFO, some business owners. Some new PRs with higher education.
There is a certain kindy teacher who isn't great with boys. A lot of parents have been pressured into getting ADHD / ASD assessments only to be told their child is completely normal.... stressful & expensive. I think the teacher in question might be nearing retirement age, hopefully.
