Is the New Town Creek a flood concern for people in Moonah?

No it is not. It would have to rain for days for days to flood and Moonah is higher than the creek. But in saying that there are a few houses that are on the banks of the creek and may have had water lapping at their doorsteps at odd times over the years.

I've never heard of anyone getting concerned about it flooding and I can't recall when it last flooded to the point of adverse affect to property
