Reviews of Mullum Mullum Rd, Ringwood
"Great location for facilities; spoiled by rat-run through traffic."
All facilities are very handy. Ideal for commuters (A frequent bus service runs up to 11 p.m., and 7 days a week) and families (a good High School and Primary School are on the road, and the bus connects to 7 others, including Steiner, Luther, and Yarra Valley). The whole street is tree-lined and footpaths on both sides.
Outdoor recreation is good, with extensive open areas, a cricket oval and nets, and a well-kept playground.
Shopping is great, with a small strip of shops just off it in Panfield avenue, and Eastland nearby.
There are many retirees in the street, long-term residents who settled there when it was opened up. Nearby ia a Senior Citizens club, and the frequent bus stops near Eastland, Hoyts cinemas, a Public Library, and the RSL.
On the downside, the road becomes quite busy during rush-hour, as cars use it to bypass Maroondah Highway. Fortunately frequent speed camera patrols keep the traffic under 60 kph.
