I want to move to Newport however I work in the cbd. What is the average driving time to the cbd?
What is the average driving time to the cbd? What time would i need to leave to beat the heaviest of peak hour? Are the busses to the cbd fast? appreciate any advice on this

Hi,
I'd recommend catching an express bus to the city in the morning (E88 or E89). If you catch a bus later in the morning you would need to catch an L88 or L90. The E88 and E89 stop at fewer stops along the way in comparison to the L88 or L90.
If you were to catch an express bus from Newport at about 7:30am it would take you about 70-75 minutes to get to Wynyard. If the traffic is particularly busy or the weather is bad it could take a few minutes longer. The commute is normally quicker during school holidays.
