Dumping ground in Sunbury - Is it true?
Hi, We are a family looking to move to Sunbury from Altona. We liked the suburb very but I've recently heard there are plans for a site in Sunbury to be used for toxic waste dumping... Is it true?

Well yes, there is a bulla tip which you can see while coming from city towards sunbury...People are raising concerns on toxic soil being dumped and they have already raised the petition..not sure if there will be any action on removing it but I heard they are making it underground...again not sure when this will happen..

There is a soil treatment facility. It's nothing to worry about. It's a long way from homes. I live on the other side of sunbury in Rosenthal. Have been in Sunbury for 20years. Its a beautiful town and community. Very safe and friendly.
