What are the public schools like in Wodonga?

I have a daughter who would be going into year 4 next year, & a son into Kindy. My main concerns would be standard of teaching, facilities, bullying; the usual things parents worry about.

honestly go and investigate the schools for yourself, none of them are amazing and all, from start to 12, are rife with bullying and some even have teachers that partake in bullying the students as well.
Get in contact with parents and students wherever you can, especially ones like your family, to get a better idea of how your children might feel in the environments of each school

When my children started school 7 years ago I found it best to visit each school and see if they have the qualities you are looking for. All public schools in the Wodonga area are much of a muchness and are usually chosen by demographics rather then choice. Personally I chose Baranduda Primary School as it was smaller in a safe community where morals and principles are high priority and has an open door policy for parents to call in at any time and help out in the classroom. The Staff are all approachable and the school has a no-bullying policy. The school is less than 10 minutes drive from most parts of Wodonga and is well worth considering.

The school may have a no-bullying policy but bullying is rife in the school.
