Cungena Avenue, Park Holme, SA 5043

Cungena Avenue is evolving from a street full of well maintained older homes to a few renovated homes and several more recent developments including courtyard homes. This is a slightly busier suburban street but traffic has been controlled with speed humps.

Cungena Avenue is a nice street, but it is not a pretty street. There are not a lot of well established trees on the street and some of the houses are a little old and run down. But the upside is that it is relatively quiet.

It connects to Marion road making access to some great public transport easy and driving into the city or down to marion a breeze. the public transport service is excellent with limited stop bus services, full stop bus services, train and tram services close by.

At the end of the street is a large petrol station making getting the morning paper and milk very easy.

There are a number of shops close by including Foodland, an IGA and a Coles and Marion is not far away at all.

There is little neighbourly interaction which is great for those that like to keep to themselves. However, I witnessed the occasional domestic dispute spill out onto the street.

Cungena Avenue is not used as a through route for traffic and so not a lot of traffic passes through that is not local. However, traffic that does come down tends to travel at higher speeds due to the long straight flat nature of the street.

It was a good place to live as a single looking for easy access to the city.
