Which is the best part of the Adelaide CBD for living?

I'm looking to rent a cottage or townhouse in the CBD for around 350-400. I've seen a number come up near south terrace (west and east ends) so just after some feedback from those that live in the CBD and what are the pro's and con's. I'm just a single man moving from the burbs to the city. Ty.

definitley north adelaide or the east end, east end has some excellent restaraunts, you're only a 0-5min walk away from what i'd consider the best of the adelaide parklands and nice the backdrop of the adelaide hills. if you want something less high rise city vibe, go for north adelaide, you get all the benefits of living in the city whilst being in a quiet and cozy manner. dont go west end that place is weird and well, hindley street speaks 4 itself. south is also nice, same benefits as east end and a little cozier but not as north adelaide
