I wanted to write you today to share the overwhelmingly positive experience that I had finding a place to live with one of your Leasing Consultants Stefan Joannides. I am very new to the Melbourne area having recently landed a job within the CBD at a Naval Engineering company and was looking for a place to live. The location that I eventually went with was I chose for many reasons but one was how helpful Stefan was with the entire process.

I went to a viewing of the location this past weekend and Stefan was able to answer all of my questions regarding the unit and the surrounding area. In addition, he provided me with his email so that if I did decide on submitting an application I could let him know and he would put it on his to-do box for the coming Monday. This struck a bit of a chord with me as many of the other companies I viewed with just gave an inspection code without assuring me that they would assist my application once submitted.

Today Stefan let me know where in the process my application was and was very understanding when I said I needed a bit of time to decide once my approval had gone though. He pointed me in a good direction to begin to acquire some furnishings for the location and told me that if I had any further questions I shouldn't be afraid to contact him.

Being in a new city and looking for a place to stay while trying to manage work and the many other things on my plate was a bit overwhelming. Stefan made the process from start to finish a great experience and should I be looking for accommodation in the future I will most certainly think of Hocking Stuart first.

I wanted to write to you regarding my recent positive experience working with Stefan on leasing 17 Drysdale Street, Port Melbourne and the success result in achieving $1050 per week rent for 12 months.
 
Stefan's work ethic was fantastic and very positive over the Christmas break period and he and I were in constant communication to help qualify prospective tenants and being able to talk through the scenarios in collaboration was very helpful. He went over and beyond with his professional attitude and communication.
 
I like your structure of splitting Business development and property management for rentals. One of my typical frustrations as with rent rolls/ property management as an investor is with the lack of "proactive" selling with prospects.
 
The reason for this was that Stefan was open to working with the owner as a "selling" team and strategising ways to minimise the vacancy period but sales strategies in order to "think outside the box" with prospective tenants and also negotiation suggestions I made.
 
Essentially we worked together to be able to sell the value rather than drop the price as an answer, which for a landlord is not great from an ROI perspective.
 
Again I enjoyed working with Stefan who has helped achieve a good result for me with the property, so wanted to commend him as a good asset for Hocking Stuart and provide that feedback to yourself.

I just wanted to write and let you know how happy Ive been with the level of service Ive received in the past couple of months.  I have been really happy with Dannis service and her communication is excellent!  There were a few problems with water leaks, lost fobs, tenant vacating, etc. and Danni handled everything so well and kept me informed along the way.  And I also want to compliment Stefan for his service with the re-letting of my apartment.  He was a pleasure to deal with and he also kept me very informed throughout the whole process.  They both are very friendly and professional and I really appreciate it.  I want to thank you both but also hope you can thank them as well.

Stefan on first contact was briefed, and would promptly advise of priorities he thought would meet our requirements and also advise of up and coming properties with profound enthusiasm. From the very first call to the many face to face encounters at open for inspections we have nothing but praise for the young man, and his ambition, dedication to helping us find a property. He will no doubt not only meet but exceed expectations in his realestate career.

He then helped me get my apartment (Flinders St, Melbourne) on the market for rent, and secured an unbelievable turnout of potential renters on the first inspection. He then successfully negotiated a higher rental figure and a two-year lease with an increase built in for the second year. To be able to secure a rental for ourselves, and get our own apartment rented straight-away was very much appreciated (can't believe only less than a week overlap between the two)!
