Meeting Maggie Burke was like a breath of fresh air had entered our lives. Our home had been on the market with another agent for four months and we were disappointed and exhausted. Promises made and not fulfilled, very few viewings and an unrealistic selling price, set by the agent, had led us to believe a sale was not possible in the difficult market. Then we met Maggie, or maybe I should say Mary Poppins. Maggie was enthusiastic and full of energy. Her enthusiasm reinvigorated us for what turned out to be a wonderful journey and the development of a new friendship. Let me tell you a little about the Maggie experience. Maggie and her team took the time to style the home, for which there was no charge, and remarket with new photos. All advertising materials and photos were submitted to us for pre approval and any changes that we suggested were made. Maggie did her research and understood the true market conditions. Now that could make a sceptic think that Maggie lowered the price, but instead she chose a listing method that was appropriate for the market. As for the price we achieved, it was what I had originally thought appropriate when I had listed the property four months earlier with the previous agent, however that listing price was overinflated by the agent and the marketing strategy used was not appropriate for the market conditions. It took Maggie one week from the day the property was listed by her for sale to secure an offer, well actually two, one of which has since proceeded to settlement. We celebrated with Maggie in style with a glass of Moet, our thank you to Maggie and her husband Patrick for an experience that exceeded all of our expectations. We have relocated many times and never have we met such nice genuine people in the real estate industry before.
