Reviews of Ascot Park, SA

"Very convenient suburb"

I have resided in the Northern end for 20+ years.
St Anthony's primary is a great school- 1 train stop away
Woodlands Park train - Where you can chose trains from 2 lines- 11 mins express to city
In between City, Coast and Hills
Castle plaza is a great convenient shopping precinct. Marion and South Rd for retail shops
Neighbours are friendly, a few pockets of old housing trust homes that can cause minor problems
however the area is retaining the beautiful bungalows and regenerating other areas with new modern housing
Marion Mayor is great
Marion indoor and outdoor pools with slides
Edwardstown oval, velodrome and memorial getting an 8+ million upgrade
Playground upgrades
Dog park near by

"Ascot Park"

Great suburb been here for 7 years, everything close by, city, Glenelg, Marion Westfield. Close by public transport. Buying again in same suburb. Suburb is undergoing rapid development and intern increase in housing price. Oval near by great for cycling practice and watching weekend games of footy.

"Bit boring really"

Not much here for nightlife. Have to travel elsewhere for entertainment. Noisy if you live near the train line and/or factories. Good for public transport. Overall OK.

"Comfortable & Convenient"

we really enjoy living in the area, its extremely convenient with easy access to the city by either bus or train, the trip into the CBD is only 12 minutes on the train and with 3 good local shopping centres all less than a few minutes away, its hard to beat and its only a short drive to Marion, Glenelg and Flinders Uni

Rentals in Ascot Park

"Great place to live - convenient and friendly"

I lived here for 7 years - loved the train and bus being close by, really great central location - easy to get to the beach or the city - or even the hills up Cross Rd. Short drive or bus to Flinders, walk to the park, the shops, good takeaways, just an easy place to get around and live in.
