High school & Primary recommendations considering a move to Ballarat

Im recently divorced and would like a fresh start with my sons who are 14 and 5. Looking for school recommendations as my eldest is a bit anxious about it. Close to each other is a bonus. If you are a single mum who have made the move any other info would be helpful. We havent fully decided on Ballarat but Im keen on the idea should it be a fit. We will be renting for now given it will be a new area with the option to buy later on should we decide to stay. TYIA

Hi Melissam54. Alfredton would be a good choice for you as the Ballarat High School is renowned as a great schools with many fantastic programs. For your younger child there is the Alfredton Primary - also a great school with great reputation. Old Alfredton is a great family area. Big blocks, wide streets, kids playing in the courts etc. Shani Stevens, Real Estate Sales, One Agency Ballarat, [email protected]
