Belconnen is four times more violent than most of the other areas in Canberra. There are many more thefts and assaults when compared with the rest of Canberra. So I wouldn't say it was either safe or unsafe. The average rent for a 2 BR APT is a range from $270-$450 depending on the location, size and age of the property.
