From both a rental and sales perspective there is definitely demand for 2 bedroom units. This area has an abundance of investors, first homebuyers and also people looking to down size (generally need to be quieter and ground floor however) that these type of units are perfect for. They are great for tenants also who may be FIFO or people looking for an easy commute to the city.

The councils rezoning a few years back and all the improvements with the Gateway WA project (for the airport and connecting Hwy's) have made these type of units more available for developers to get started; but current unit complexes are selling quite easily and quickly also.

In addition, though, there is a general demand for almost any type of property in the area at the moment due to the shortage of homes for sale across the board.
