throwing rocks on the motorway

I recall this incident. The police did find where the perpetrators stood to throw the rocks. They got to the top of the culvert from Warwick St, Lindsay Heights, but regrettably I don't think anyone was ever charged.

Nor was anyone charged over deliberately lit grass fires on the othert side towards Lake Heights. Residents saw kids spreading the fires, and detained them, but had to let them go as the Police took too long to respond.

Lake Illawarra Command is now located in the new police station near Oak Flats railway station, and has a new ph number.

There were 104 reported crime incidentsin Berkeley for the 3 months Sep Oct Nov; it is usually c. 20 per month.

People must realise they have responsibilites too, and the police cannot be everywhere at once, so they must report crime so it can be dealt with a.s.a.p
