Hi ukmum,

I take it you have decided on co-ed schools for your children?

I know people from both schools and both are great options with multiple campuses. A few 'opinions' - not necessarily my own but 'through the grapevine'. Bother are excellent colleges with fantastic facilities and grounds.

St Leonards offers the IB program which is a great option for kids who plan to study abroad. It is also well know for it's creative arts and music - if your children are that way inclined? With Brighton being the primary campus - its pretty big numbers wise.

Haileybury is a member of the APS - Associated Public Schools in Victoria which is a successful program for competitive sport, music, debating and a number of activities. They are known for a balance of academic and extra curricular activities. Interestingly they separate the boys and girls in the senior campus for many classes, which could be a blessing for some kids. The Brighton campus has a close relationship with the primary campus in Keyborough and I've heard there's a lot of commuting between the two.

Hope I've helped a litle.
