Brompton, SA 5007 is located within the Charles Sturt local government area, part of the Adelaide (Greater) Region in South Australia.

Nightlife in Brompton itself is limited. 3 pubs, The Brompton (First St), Excelsior (Hawker St.) and The Gas Light (Chief St) are all social spots. The Bombay Bicycle Club is in adjacent Ovingham (Torrens Rd) and The Gov (Governor Hindmarsh on Port Rd, Hindmarsh) is opposite the Entertainment Centre. The Gov has live music most weekends. But your only 5 kms from the City's nightlife, and a short drive to North Adelaide restaurants, pubs, clubs, etc.
