The best public high school in the Caboolture area is Morayfield State High School, which has earned a reputation recently with 100% of year 12s passing their final year since 2017. The school is also well known for its Rugby League Excellence Program which has produced 5 nrl players (including Matt Gillett (Broncos), Jack Reed (Broncos), Joel Moon (Broncos & Warriors), Dane Hogan (Cowboys), and Corey Horsburgh (Raiders)). It has for many years been running STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) programs and the ARTIE (Achieving Results Through Indigenous Education) program. It also has the cheapest fees for any high school in the region. The school opened in 1981 after Caboolture State High School started to breach capacity. It also has easy access to transport as it has a bus station for school buses and public buses and has the Morayfield Train Station on the opposite side of Visentin Road. The school is also in close proximity to the shopping centre, skate park, and Keystar motors. The biggest downside is that the school was originally built on a floodplain so if there is a few days of torrential rain it tends to flood especially at the back of the school near the billabong and creek. To get into the school students have to have attended one of the local primary schools (Minimbah State School, Morayfield State School or Morayfield East State School) or live in the school's catchment area. The school is also home the Morayfield Trade Training Centre and the Student Support Centre which provides the best support for students out of any school in the area. There are approximately 1400 student at MSHS and each of the local primary schools are almost at capacity as well except for Minimbah which is much newer than the others as it opened in 2008, Morayfield East SS opened in 1991 and MSS has been open for over a century but is still not the oldest school in the region. If you want a Private School the best option is probably St Columban's however there are large fees to attend.
