In addition to Gedney Park, the "Rec Field" playground is smaller in size and the equipment is better suited for toddlers. I enjoyed many afternoons and evening there with my toddlers. Entrance is the Town Hall Parking Lot (in rear). Town Hall is located just across from the Chappaqua Library.

Gedney Park would probably be the best suited park for a toddler as it has a playground which would provide good supervised fun. It also has ample playing fields so he or she could run around or kick a ball about. And there is a picnic area if mom, pop, guardian, babysitter or entire family wants to sit down and have a snack and commune with each other and nature. :)

Gedney Park. It's a beautiful park with playground -- swings, sand box and slides. It does not have a lot of car traffic, so kids can ride their bikes. There are several ball fields (baseball, soccer) and many hiking trails. And during the winter, in a good snow storms, HUNDREDS of people come out to go sledding!
