Explore Chicago Audio Tours: Chicago for Kids

A recent find, courtesy of the “Explore Chicago” website: A downloadable audio tour of “Chicago for Kids”. What a great way to tour the city from the comfort of your own home! Or better yet, a great way to prep for an in-person visit to the locations on the tour, all of which are highlighted on the accompanying map for the tour. Just point your browser to: http://www.chicagoforkids.org/ChicagoKids/ Downloading is optional since you can take the tour and listen to the audio interactively, directly from the site. The site even has 8 interactive games, highlighting one of the tour locations. Very Cool! (And not just for kids!)

Here's the list of tour locations:

Garfield Park Conservatory
Michigan Avenue Bridge
Chicago Cultural Center
The “El”
Picasso Sculpture
Millennium Park
North Avenue Beach

Have fun! I did!
