For Northwest residents, Portage Park offers a great dog park. Located South of Berteau, it has a doggie fountain and responsible dog owners.

My 2 favorite dog parks are Montrose Beach and Foster Ave Dog Beach. The former, supported by Mondog (http://mondog.org/) is found where Wilson Ave meets Lake Michigan. I am also a big fan of the Foster Ave Beach - located north of the public beach. It's less crowded, but still expansive. These areas give your pooches lots of running room, they're well maintained, and are great places to meet other Chicago dog-lovers.
