On one of my first dates with my girlfriend, we headed downtown, ate at Bennigan's (I used to wait tables at a different Bennigan's during college, then we walked over to Navy Pier to ride the ferris wheel. The walk was a lot further than we expected, but the journey was even better than the destination.
