Young people love North Ave Beach (Chicago Social / Volleyball) and Oak Street (Magnificent Muscles), but I prefer Osterman Beach. Located just north of Foster Beach, there's no public parking (try parking at 5801 Sheridan), which means it's secluded and open. The Lakefront Bike Trail begins here, too! The Park District beach house is LEED certified and 2 years new- it's gorgeous! You can truly enjoy Lake Michigan at Cathy Osterman Beach!!!
