Edgewater (Edgewater beach), Uptown (Montrose beach), Lincoln Park (Fullerton beach), Old Town (North Ave Beach), Streeterville/Gold Coast (Oak ST. Beach), and I'm not as sure about the south side. I believe South Shore has one with a beautiful old community center.

Public beaches are everywhere!!! From Oak St Beach (near North), North Ave Beach (Lincoln Park), Montrose Beach (Uptown), Foster Ave Beach and my favorite hidden beach ... Osterrman Beach (Edgewater), your choices are vast!
