For the best Traditional Chicago Style Dog, you can't go wrong with Gene & Judes. If you have patience for long lines then Hot Dougs in Avondale is worth the wait. They have some really great options you won't be able to find anywhere else.

Gene & Judes Red Hot. The long lunch lines out the door speak for themselves. You also can't go wrong with either Superdawg in Norwood Park neighborhood or Jimmy's on the West side. Just remember, don't ask for Ketchup!
