Are there any local theater groups I could get involved with?

Falcon Theatre on Monmouth Street in Newport is a great little community theater that puts on a number of productions throughout the year. They frequently hold auditions for their plays. They are a volunteer driven organization, so if you aren't into acting, then maybe you could be a volunteer to help out with activities either at the back or front of the house.
