Cincinnati drivers are pretty bad and accident rates are pretty high. Statistically, fatal traffic accidents in Ohio have accounted for approximately 1/3 of all traffic accident fatalities nationwide. Metropolitan Cincinnati (meaning Hamilton County) is the third largest metropolitan area in the state and has the third largest accident rate in the state.

Cincinnati drivers aren't that great. Cincinnati has traffic delays due to all weather conditions: rain, snow, and sun. When it comes to driving in snow and ice, Cincinnati drivers are especially bad. Even though we get snow and ice every winter, most Cincinnati drivers never seem to learn how to drive in it. They frequently drive too fast and recklessly for conditions, causing many accidents and traffic delays. My boyfriend is from California and he says that Cincinnati drivers are the worst he's ever seen. While I don't think Cincinnatians drive as bad as Boston drivers, we are pretty bad. Statistics tend to show that Cincinnati has the worst drivers in Ohio. Interstate 75 has a lot of traffic, as well as a lot of out-of-state traffic, so it tends to have more accidents and traffic jams.
