How diverse is Cincinnati and in what ways?

That depends on how you think of diversity. Cincinnati is just about 50/50 black and white with a little bit of a Hispanics, Asians and "others" mixed in. How everyone lives their lives is a different thing altogether. They attend a few of the same festivals and events. There are a few neighborhoods where you'll find diversity in the truest since of the word; but most residential areas and even churches are still highly racially segregated.
Cincinnati is a fairly diverse city with about 50% of the population being multicultural. Most of the multicultural make-up is African America, however the Hispanic population in Cincinnati continues to grow at a rapid pace. While the population is diverse, there tends to be a larger concentration of African Americans and Hispanics on the west side and in lower income neighborhoods. The northern suburbs and wealthier neighborhoods tend to be less diverse.
