Is Cincinnati's pollen count high? Is it dangerous for people with bad allergies?

It's a longstanding joke of sorts that everybody in Cincinnati has sinus problems. People have always credited that problem with being surrounded by hills and living in the Ohio Valley. Dust, pollen and other allergens simply hover in the air, giving everyone a perpetual case of congestion.
I don't believe it's dangerous unless you have asthma or some other condition or there's a really bad weather/pollen combination going on.
Cincinnati is a bad place for seasonal allergies. If you don't have allergies before you move to Cincinnati, you probably will have them once you're here. Pollen count tends to be high early in the Spring and can be very bad. Another allergen problem is the mold count, which is frequently high, even when the pollen count isn't. The allergens are so bad in Cincinnati, that my dog frequently has to take Benadryl...it's also probably why a Cincinnatian, George Rieveschl, invented it.
