Cincinnatians have brewed beer since the1800s. The tradition continues today with local micro breweries.
Rockbottom (www.rockbottom.com ) It's one of the businesses that surround Fountain Square.
Double Barrel Brewery at 4720 Eastern Ave. in Linwood will open their doors soon. (www.facebook.com/thedoublebarrelbrewery)

Over-the-Rhine was once (and is often still) known as the Brewery District, as it was once filled with Germans and their (in)famous beer. Today, you can find the Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery downtown, which features a diverse menu of beer made on-site. Additionally, the Samuel Adams brewery is nearby, on Central Pkwy.
